Im goin to Alantic beach north carolina and i wanted to know what is the best bait?

1. Depends on what you're going after! Best bet is to ask at a local Bait & Tackle shop.
2. I live 100 miles north of Hatteras(sp) so I can't answer specifically but my all around fall back bait is Gulp by Berkley. I use the 3inch mullet scented. Pretty much everything likes it. Just use a normal cast and retrieve. Again this is a fallback, if no one has any better ideas.

4. i would use a peeled shrimp on a carolina rigg with about a 1 ounce wieght for surf fishing
