Things to do in Outer Banks, NC? Restaurants, bars, beaches in Corolla, North Carolina?

Got a trip planned for end of July at a beach house in Corolla. Group of 18 people ranging in ages from 2 to 58. I'm 25 and there's about 8 of us in our 20's. Looking for suggestions for activities near Corolla or any restaurant/bar recommendations. We've usually vacationed in Ocean City, NJ in past summers, so we're trying something new this year! Really looking forward to it, but would love to go equipped with some points of interest and ideas for activities. Thanks for your help!
