Looking for beach resorts for a romantic vacation?

I'm looking to go to any of the following Key Largo, Big Pine Keys, Marathon, or Islamorada (By Key West, Florida) for about a week. I'm looking for a place that has cottages and on the beach or very close to the beach. I'm trying to suprise my boyfriend with a romantic, realxing getaway. Any advice on how to make it more romantic and relaxing will be helpful as well. Thanks for the help in advance. I was really looking for a place that has rooms right over the water on stilts. If you know were any of those kinds of resorts are that would b a big help. Thanks again.

1. Do a Yahoo serach for Florida keys Resorts. I'm not aware of anyplace that has rooms on stilts. You may be able to find some rentable houseboats. A few years ago there was, & there may still be, a hotel in the upper keys that had some underwater rooms -- if you like a little claustrophobia with your romance.
2. Check out keysdirectory.com. There are tons of hotels/inns/cottages listed. In my opinion, I'd stick around Marathon or Islamorada in my hotel choices if your looking for something not so crowded.
