Which North Carolina beach/s has the best sand dunes and is kid friendly?

We are looking for a beach with great sand dunes that is kid/family friendly.

1. I am in North Carolina..visit web site www.outerbanks.org or google nc outerbanks and chose one of the many sites to get an idea marvelous sand dunes at Kitty Hawk, and Wrightsville Beach....sand dunes are best in upper part of outer banks...
