I used to live in Queensland, but found it far to boring, so moved back to Sydney! Anyone relate to that ?

Don't get me wrong, I love Qld, apart from State of Origin time! You have some of the best beaches in the world up there and a really laid back lifestyle and exceptionally good value compared to living in Sydney. However even with one of the worlds best beaches - Mooloolabah, I still missed Sydney and Bondi Beach ! Your thoughts ? PS. Happy Australia Day Long Weekend!

1. Hello. I live and queensland and always have but i used to go to Sydney and visit all the time and i want to move back there. I love Qld as it has the best weather but i miss the shopping and night scene and i think Qld is a bit backwards. Hope that helps you a little that a Qld person can want to live in Sydney. 2. Happy Australia Day to you too! I'm glad you like living back in Sydney and sorry that you found Queensland boring. Everyone likes living in different areas for their own reasons. I've lived in Sydney and Brisbane; and I much prefer Brisbane.
3. you are the one of the very few people i know who moved to the north and then south again. QLD is great with so much to do and see. i live in briz and work in nth QLD and will never ever move out of the state. if you found it boring then you must not have explored too much of it. but if everyone was the same it would be a boring world. if you ever come back up check out the very north of QLD and get over to fraser island and it may change your opinion
4. I really like Queensland now that its improved a heap! Sydney is alrite just that everything is wayy too spread out and it takes forever to get from North to South Sydney or whatever compared to Brisbane and also i think that its wayyy more laid back here, people will stop and say g'day to you and stuff here, not in sydney, so no i dont relate to that. Sorry
