Honeymoon destination advice?
My fiance and I are trying to find a good destination for our honeymoon for the types of things we are looking for. We both want this to be a RELAXING and ROMANTIC honeymoon......white sand beaches, crystal blue water and beautiful day-life. We're not big partiers, so we're not really looking for something so live...something small is okay..like if we were staying at a resort and they had nightly shows or something or something different to do...not just "clubbing." So..if anyone has advice on a nice resort to stay at for about 10 days thats suitable for a honeymoon..let me know, thanks :) Also..the price range we were looking at was between 4-6 thousand...depending on whether it was all inclusive or not..for about 10 days. thanks!

- I would suggest Maui HI, it's beautiful and very relaxing, lots to do if you aren't into partying. The Grand Wailea is wonderful but may be a bit out of your price range, but there are many resorts to chose from.
- I would do an all inclusive resort in the carribean or jamaica or costa rica Both are gorgeous places for the things you are looking for. Just stay on the property of the resort and you'll be fine. Sandals has some wonderful places. I would google them and see if there's anything you like. Also google all inclusive resorts to pick up the ones not owned by Sandals.
- Just went to st martin rented a condo for about 1200 for a week it had a beach view it was close to shops and restaurants things around there close down around 10pm. there are some casinos if you want some late night gambling action. It was nice and peaceful.
- My fiance and I are going to the Mayan Riviera. It's a couples only resort, all inclusive. Our suite has 2 Jacuzzis on inside one on the balcony, you get a couples massage, private beachfront candlelight dinner, personal concierge...it really seems amazing. They also have lots of entertainment 8 restaurants and 10 bars check it out! I can't wait to go! Oh and it's in your price range too! : ) http://www.excellence-resorts.com/all-inclusive-resorts/riviera-cancun-mexico/cancun-overview.htm
- My fiance and I have chose the Couples Resort in Negril, Jamaica. We are going for 12 days and staying in a Beach front suite (most expensive)...it's gonna run about $8,800. It is truely an all-inclusive resort and they offer various activities for free, and a few for about $50 extra. So it's very possible to get something similar in your price range.
- try one of the beautiful resorts in the maldives, white sandy beaches, crystal blue sea, it is a complete chill out zone, no nightclubs, beautiful food and the staff go out of their way to make your holiday special, try one of the smaller islands, it is probably one fo the most romantic places on earth!!!
- I would suggest Sandals Ocho Rios, Jamaica resort. My husband and I spent our honeymoon there and absolutely loved it! It was all inclusive, including meals & daily activities (bbq's, water activities, dances, gameshows, etc). We stayed in our own private villa and shared a small pool with another couple (they weren't around much so we had it to ourselves). We spent under $3,000 (includes airfare & stay) for a week. Extra money you can spend on shopping and off site excursions. It's relaxing, romantic, and well woth it! Sandals caters to mainly honeymooners and those who are celebrating their anniversaries. They have a very welcoming staff and we met a lot of great people on our stay. Good luck and congratulations!
- my suggestion would be any of the virgin islands they are all very nice places to stay. When we went it was at ST.Thomas and we didnt want to leave, The staff at our cottage was very friendly and we didnt have to leave the beach if we didnt want to. There is lots of shopping and touristy stuff to see and do.
- I recommend Hawaii. All the islands are beautiful - I particularly like Maui and Kauai. Plus there's no hurricane season like in the Caribbean. I'd pick Maui for great beaches, snorkling, and surfing (wave, long board, or boogie board). Kauai is what you picture when you think of Hawaii - amazing tropical forests, rainbows, and waterfalls plus beautiful beaches. The Sheraton Maui is very affordable and it has a superb location. http://www.sheraton-maui.com/ The Grand Hyatt on Kaui is absolutely amazing. http://kauai.hyatt.com/hyatt/hotels/index.jsp
