Somewhere with a beautiful beach and clear blue sea - not more than 5 hours flying time from the UK?

Can anyone recommend anywhere? I really want white sand and turquoise sea for a few days!

1. Try Mykonos in Greece or Marmaris in Turkey... You can't get that Caribbean white beaches anywhere within 5 hours of the UK. However, if you are willing to fly a little more, try Bermuda....
2. Thassos greece.
3. try Malta, only about an hours flight, cheaper then greece and smaller too. not so touristy. for the beaches head down to gozo at the end of the islands.
4. red sea cheap very lovely sea and great place, just about5 hours too
5. Greek islands, definitely... approx 4-5 hours from any uk airport. Naxos is my favourite, although no direct flights. You can take a ferry though from some other islands. Krete is also beautiful, especially i know two gorgeous beaches: so called Bali beach between Heraklion and Rethimnon, and Vai beach (the only european beach with palm trees) in the very east point of the island.
6. try Cyprus it was beautiful we went in september and left there october,and the weather was like it is today.lush four and a half hours flying.
7. kefalonia Greece !!!have beautifull sand beach and lots of green and is only 3and half hours from UK
8. cyprus fig tree bay protaras . crystal clear sea and a soft white sandy beach i went 3yrs ago and i'm hopeing to go again nx yr it is goergous xx
9. well longer journey but heaven on earth..i went last summer going again in june..the one and only DUBAI x
10. Coral Bay or Beach, Cyprus, west of Paphos

12. Occidental Allegro Abou Sofiane, Port El Kantaoui, Tunisia awesome..great staff and right on the beach....luuuurve it( approx 3 hrs flying)
