Garie Beach

What is your favourite beach in the whole world and why?

I like Whitehaven Beach in Australia. The most beautiful white sand and clear blue water. It's paradise...

  1. Jumeriah Beach...... The sun always shines
  2. Baga beach in Goa India! its absolutly amazing! its white sands and a lovely blue sea. When i went it was so quiet and the tourists hadnt got to it yet, there was this one indian boy celling coconuts!
  3. Curacoa - The sand was fine and white, sea was turqouise and you could see even your pinkie and watch the Pelican fishing - I wish I was there now!!!!
  4. coco cay, bahamas.
  5. Never been to a beach i liked
  6. Chesil Beach - Dorset. Great fishing.
  7. Combesgate beach in Woolacombe - I grew up in a house that overlooked it.
  8. Although Whitehavn is pretty awesome, you can't surf there! So for me if I had to choose one it would probably be Bryon Bay north beach. The surf is great and the chilled out atmosphere and easy going attitude are second to none. My other favourites include: Manly, Malibu and one that didn't have a name which me and my mates camped on between Bryon bay and Sydney.
  9. Hello! Tenby in South West Wales :-) .
  10. Great Yarmouth, then Southend.
  11. Lookout Beach in Plettenberg Bay, South Africa. Long, beautiful, white sand, warm water because of the Indian Ocean, and if you're lucky, you can swim witht he dolphins that ride alongside surfers...
  12. Hilton Head Island South Carolina Beautiful family setting that is fun AND relaxing/peaceful. My home away from home.
  13. Skegness because of the donkeys, used nappies, fat semi naked women in bikinis & the brown sea. Don't you just want to be there right now?
  14. its gotta be alcudia beach in majorca. there is miles and miles of it. i love walking down the beach very early in the morning to get to the port
  15. Great Yarmouth has an amazing beach miles and miles of golden sands. Furtavontura canary islands (cant spell it sorry) now that is what I call a beach long sandy and clear blue waters.
  16. Got to agree with you, spent half a day on there, and didn't want to leave - part of a 3 day boat trip around the Whitsunday Islands so unfortunatly I had to leave. It was pefect, my girlfriend cleaned her jewellery in the sand as the sand is so fine. It was voted 2nd best beach in the world - the best one is meant to be in Mexico, but I'm not sure which part.
  17. The beach at Ballyheigue, County Kerry, Ireland. Long and fresh and cool and gorgeous mountains in the distance. Continues to Banna strand, where Roger Casement got caught bringing arms to the IRA early last century ... but that's not why it's my favourite.
  18. I think the nicest beach in the caribbean is the 7 mile beach in Negril Jamaica. All the resorts on the beach employ locals to sift through the sand daily for foreign debris resulting in a very soft and pristine beach that goes on and on....
  19. the ones in the maldives...
  20. A little beach on the northern tip of the Spanish Balearic island of Formentera - it was deserted when we went there in 1976 and just marvellous, but I expect it's been got at by now. The other two beaches which I would have classed as my favourites in the whole world would have been Palma Nova [Son Matias] 1959 and Magaluf 1959 - both had one hotel, emerald water and white sandy beaches with hardly a person on them. Palma Nova still only had one hotel - The Playa in 1963 but I expect that's been pulled down by now, and Son Matias next door beach was still undeveloped. The other beach is Traeth Lligwy on the Welsh Island of Anglesey with its backdrop of sand hills.
  21. Flic en Flac, Mauritius. Palm trees, silver white sand, crystal turquoise seas and sun. Plus friendly people.
  22. elbow beach bermuda pink sand blue sea its idyllic
