Beaches near Sydney Australia?

Hey. My family and I want to go to the beach this long weekend and we're looking for one close, to as 4 hours or less away. We've considered Jervis Bay but that is a long way away just to go to the beach. If you've been to a good one that is just outside of Sydney and has good swimming conditions could you tell us the name? thanks.

1. WITHIN 4 hours drive of Sydney there are 100's of beaches
2. I like Bondi. Smooth sand and blue water. Easy to get to even by bus. Manly is also nice! You can surf at both.
