What does it take to become a lawyer in Western Australia?

My chosen carreer is to become a lawyer. It has been for many years. What I want to know is how long does it take to become a lawyer?; What do you have to do to become a lawyer? and what do you have to study at school year 11 to Uni to become a lawyer? remember this is for in Western Australia and my first choice University is Murdoch
