How many nudist beaches are there in Australia and where are they located? What are the beach rules?

- pervert!
- For some reason foreigners think that we have a huge amount of nudist beaches. It's bull. We have a lot of beaches but I actually only know of one beach that nudists visit and I'm pretty sure it isn't offically a nudist beach.
- There are a couple in Sydney on the harbour. But there are thousands of miles of deserted beaches where the only thing you will frighten is a seagull.
- Official ones I'm not sure but there are several that are not official but you get away with it. Maslin beach south of Adelaide is well known . there is one at nelson Bays NSW . a lovely area. but one of the best would have to be Broome s Cable beach in Western Australia.
- @fbcdoberman: Why do you think this question is pervert? And yes, there are two nudist beaches, as far as I know, located in Sydney. One of it is for women only and men are not allowed to go there.
- Are you after nude beaches or actual "clothing optional" / Naturist resorts/clubs? I believe there are a few naturist places in Australia (heard about them and seen some on TV shows) but I don't know exactly where. You will need to look at naturist webrings. They are usually affiliated with clubs all around the world so it should be easy to find. But, as far as public nude beaches... there are designated places like that in most places - even Canberra (The nation's capital) although for the life of me I wonder why there, as it is so cold in winter, any nudist would be feeling very BLUE over there. Try google search. Cheese to you.
- Hi, I'm a nudist and I strongly support it. Yes there are lots of nudist beaches in Australia in each state and territory. There's a couple of nice beaches in Sydney, Maslins Beach in Adelaide, Cable Beach in Broome and also in Perth in Western Australia as well, one in Darwin Northern Territory, Kambah Pool in Canberra ACT, quite a few in Victoria and across NSW and Queensland as well. Depending on where you live there will probably somewhere you can go. Just check the Australian Nudist Federation website for more information. For more detailed listings of nudist beaches, resorts and clubs in Australia please visit the Australian Nudist Federation website which you can also join to become a member. Then there's Free Beaches of Australia which is another nudist website and there's also two naturist magazines as well. The Free Beaches of Australia is located at: Free Beaches of Australia Inc: http://www.freebeach.com.au Australian Nudist Federation Inc: http://www.aus-nude.org.au Which also has listings of the two naturist magazines.
