What are the human features of the Great Barrier Reef? please =)?

Ok so I have an assignment on the Great Barrier Reef and this is one of the questions. I have looked on soooooooo many websites and can't find anything, any input would be greatly appreciated. Please help me lol

1. I've only scratched the surface of the information available on this topic... Look under "About the Reef" and click on "history" Also check out the Reef Tourism and Coastal Towns links. http://www.greatbarrierreef.org/ I would think that discussing the human activities in and around the reef would be in tune with this assignment.
