Stayed in the Kefalos Beach Holiday Village in Cyprus?
Has anyone stayed in the Kefalos Beach Holiday Village in Cyprus? I'm thinking of booking a holiday there and i want to know if it is a good place to stay, what there is to do there, is there a beach very close by, etc etc. Thanks

- Well if it has 'beach' in the name, i would presume it is very near a beach! If it's in Pathos, try Corel Bay, it's a great beach. You can get the bus to it, but make sure you stay on it till the terminus. Not been for a few years, but bus fares were very cheap. I love Cyprus, but have heard it's gone quite dear! Try Holidays uncoverd. Have a nice holiday.
- If you are on a budget, have you considered North Cyprus? Fabulous beaches, great food, fresh food and loads of it, good wine and beer, and all that wonderful sunshine, for less money and with less crowds than the south. It's also a very family friendly place, and most Turkish Cypriots speak excellent English too. You can now fly there more cheaply with Pegasus Airlines, or book a package through companies such as Cyprus Paradise or Green Islands.
- Hiya The Kefalos beach is ok its not near town but buses are regular and run every 15minutes and cost 80C. There is a beach quite close to it but if not you are almost on the main road that leads to coral bay which is a much better beach. There are some nice pubs round there but think that you would be better going to the harbour area if you want a few drinks afterwards.
