Do shy guys feel pride when they do this?
Yes, he's the "shy guy" type once it comes to girls. He doesn't look at me as a "friend" as much but more "a girl" haha I noticed and it seems that he gets the manly pride when he does things for me? Thing is, i'm an independent minded girl and i would never depend on a man for things, esp like money ehh...only thing i would ask for help is guy stuff like technological stuff, heavy things...ANYWAY...The vibe I get is that he feels like a "man" when he'll: - pick me up/drive US around (in his car he just bought - his "BABY", he adores it :) - GLADLY offer to pay when he takes me out to eat (i'll argue to pay once in a while tho haha) - asks me what i want us to do and where to go - i'll suggest the beach and he'll drive us there :) It seems that he would rather be the one making all the moves too...but in his own time. If I make plans, do things for him, make a move on him, he won't respond as much but when HE does all these things, it's good...like i said, in his own time Do shy guys feel pride when they do this? naaah, trust me, he's VERY cautious and has had his heart broken plenty of times...and even 2 yrs ago, w. this one girl...i was there when that happened...poor guy and i'm very grateful...like i said, i'm independent minded so i'm just kinda "in shock" a guy would still do this for me

- Hes just trying to be nice, he probably does like you. But your taking advantage of his kindness and if you dont want a relationship from him you should tell him that you like his friendship but dont want a relationship early, otherwise you will lose his friendship and trust if it continues.
- yes, there is a feeling of pride. you have found a man who's never had his heart broken. after that happens he'll be like the rest of us and you won't be able to get him to do anything after he has had his fill of sex with you. enjoy it while it lasts.
- It sounds like he is a gentleman. This is how he was taught to act by his father. An older generation would have expected every man to act like this. He is rightly proud that he has earned enough to buy a car and be able to treat a girl when he takes her out. He sounds like he is one in a million.
- Yes, and usually are often turned off with women who are very independent.
- It sounds like you've found one of the last few nice guys out there and your going to turn him into just like every other guy out there. I think the problem lays with you, you've found someone who is the exact opposite of you and now your going to turn him in everyone else. You take a look at your self before judge him like this.
