- Doest make a difference what warf it departs from. Whenever im in Sydney (I live on Sunshine Coast, QLD), I buy a Day Tripper pass from a train station. It gives you unlimited accsess to most Train, Bus and Ferry sevices opperated by Sydney Transport, You can buy it from most Train and Ferry stations and I would think you can buy one on a bus. I never use the bus so i dont know. If you buy a day tripper from a regional area (eg. Wollongong or Newcastle) you can use that whole regional line and the other regional lines as well as if you buy it in the city, you can only use the metro lines, That only applies to trains. Its the best way to go around and it is the cheepest if you use it. Thats the best way to get to CQ, accross to Manly and then from Manly to wherever. You can use it till 4AM the next morning. Good Luck!!
- Manly Ferry - $6.40 each way. Concession, $3.20 each way. Manly JetCat - $8.20 each way. No concession. JetCat is half the time of the ferry. The ferry is longer so you see more. (And its more fun when there's an ocean swell rocking it.)
