can i go topless on Australian beach?
i am from france and i am planning to have a vacation in sydney in its summer so i want to ask if it is legal to go topless on bondi beach or not?and is it common or i will be the only one who doing that? and can i sunbath lying on my back or only lying on stomach is the allowed thing?

- Yes you can go topless on Australian Beaches. Bondi has been topless for at least a generation. You'll literally fade into the background.
- Legally no you can't but a blind eye is usually used. If you are flaunting yourself you will be told to cover up . If you are face down sunbathing no one will take any notice. We do have a few legal nudist beaches in Australia but these are usually out a bit where children dont often go. Take a look around the beach your at and see if others are topless. If they are they are often out of the way a little bit.
