Garie Beach

Why should people visit Bondi Beach?

Well I have to make a travel brochure as a assignment for humanities and this is what I got so far for Why people should visit Bondi Beach. Throughout the beaches in Australia, Bondi is the most visited beach out there. Bondi is also well known all around the world for the one kilometre long, sandy beach as well as the surf. It is a popular tourist attraction, so in summer the beach is filled with thousands of people. The beach is patrolled by professional lifeguards who would be there at the sign of danger and make sure swimmers stay between the yellow and red flags. Your visit at Bondi would feel safe at all times. Not only that but there are cafes and restaurants nearby, so you could enjoy a swim and head out to eat somewhere close by. There are also accommodations nearby so you could have a comfortable stay with a great ocean view. Bondi is located in Sydney, New South Wales on the south east coast… Now I don't even know what to write any suggestions on how to fix and improve this? :D

  1. You might like to throw in the word 'iconic' somewhere? Also it's so close to the CBD.
  2. the only reason Bondi is world famous is because alot of tourists visit Sydney and Bondi is the only real beach in sydney.
  3. I have no idea, Manly beach is much much better.
  4. Well I'd rather go to Cable Beach (Broome Western Australia) 22kms of beach the top 15kms you can drive on.
  5. Well Bondi is an Australian institution. It is where the first bikini in Australia was seen, and the poor woman who wore it was chased down the beach by a crowd of guys. It is where surf lifesaving started. That is right, Bay Watch owes a hertigage to Bondi Beach. While Bondi is not Sydney's best beach, it has a unique charm and a great mix of locals and tourists on the sands. Have some traditional fix and chips, though these days the fix is more likely to be gourmet style, from cheap to expensive.
  6. They shouldn't. It is just an overcrowded patch of sand with too many tourists and people waiting to steal your stuff. There are plenty of other beaches in Australia.
