Day trip in the Los angeles area, beach etc?

Tomorrow April 10, 2010 is my husbands birthday...I am trying to plan a day for him somewhere around the la area or the beach. It's supposed to be cloudy and in the 60 so i think indoors would be best. What are some good activities that would be fun? Trying to spend less than $200.00. He is a manly man he loves sports, drinking beer. Please help!

1. How about ESPN Zone at Downtown Disney in Anaheim? You can eat at the restaurant, watch sports on TV, and go play some sports games in their REALLY cools sports arcade. How about taking the train to San Diego or Santa Barbara. In San Diego, I like eating at Anthony's. In Santa Barbara, I like the Acapulco Restaurant. Nothing like polishing off a pitcher of margarita's (or a few Corona's), then taking the shuttle bus back to the train station! No DUI today, thanks!
