What is the best Great Barrier Reef tour to do?

My boyfriend and I are wanting to go to the Great Barrier Reef this up and coming June. We are wondering what are some good tours and where we should stay. Thanks!

1. I cannot recommend exact companies but the best places to take the tours from are Cairns and Port Douglas. The reef is much closer to the mainland up north so the trips are better value than down south.

3. If you and your boyfriend are going to the Great Barrier Reef, you must try scuba diving and snorkeling..It is a great experience and you wouldn't forget that..
