Garie Beach

Where are the best beaches in Britain?

I prefer the sea more than the leisure centre, but don't know which beach is best for swimming. I live in Kent My family and I came to the UK 2 years ago and didn't see much of it yet, so this summer we like to go to the seaside of Britain but don't know which side is best to have fun with the family. If someone can give me an insider tip, would be glate.

  1. The best beaches are in Cornwall...a bit of a drive from where you are, but Cornwall is also one of the nicest parts of England. Newquay, Falmouth and Saint Austell are very nice. The scenery arount there is really beautiful...lots of small villages...some places very remote...definitely worth the trip.
  2. If its unspoilt unpopulated white-sandy beaches you want the North East has to offer the best in England (visitnortheastengland.com) and best in the UK are probably in North West Scotland- though that is a bit of a drive away and tend to be remote.
