Best Beaches?

In your opinion, what is the best East Coast beach north of South Carolina? Preference: Not too popular (more quiet...not overly crowded) More on the romantic side Prefer one that is on of the North Carolina or Virginia coastline Thanks!

2. Virginia beach is nice and if you walk further up or down shore it's more private

4. All of the beaches I know of in NC are more family orientated. I like Ocean Isle and Sunset Beach. Carolina and Wrightsville are nice too. They are all pretty quite and not overcrowded (like Myrtle). I've never been to Nags Head or the outer banks, but I've heard that they are nice too. If you want something unique go to Bald Head Island, off the coast of NC. You can only get there by boat. http://www.baldheadisland.com/
