Where to stay on the beach in North Carolina?

My hubby & I want to spend our wedding anniversary on the beach & are thinking North Carolina. Where should we stay?

2. If you want a beach house there are some gorgeous ones in the outer banks. My personal favorite place is Duck! It's amazing and so much less crowded than other tourist hot spots!
