Have you been to the Turks & Caicos Beaches resort?

2. I've stayed there, but only for a weekend. It is comfortable, clean and caters mainly for North American tastes. The food is plentiful, but somewhat unimaginative. However, as the emphasis is on families, it is only reasonable to point out that children and youngsters enjoy rather predictable fare. It is splendidly situated on Grace Bay Beach and is very spacious -- in fact, I was constantly losing my way during the weekend I spent there! The resort was badly damaged during Hurricane Ike last year and has been refurbished, with the addition of an Italian Village which is highly regarded and which has a magnificent water park. The staff are friendly and helpful and most of them are foreigners. Providenciales is a very expensive island and at least with the all-inclusive arrangement you know just what you're spending on food and accommodation.
