help in location? northern harbour?

im moving to sydney by may 2007 to Sydney Harbour’s North Head ill be 10 minutes walk from manly beach. im attending college there. is it an expensive area?? as a student i will be able to afford living out campus? thanks for all this. details appretiated!!

1. All i can say is sydney is expensive especially the north shore. But there are are plenty of students and backpackers who seem to survive there so i am sure you will be alright.
2. Manly is a very expensive area, but there is a variety of accomodation that may suit you. Have a look at this website.
