I need to find a beautiful party beach in spain. close to barcelona, but not manmade. with young straight ppl!?

myself and 3 girls have been searching for a beach to spend one night at outside barcelona. maybe ibiza, but we can't find any decently located/priced places there. maybe sitges, but it doesnt seem like there is much going on there. we want a party beach that is beautiful and clean, not a barcelona beach. anything???

1. Have you tried Lloret de Mar? That's at least close to Barcelona, as I recall.

3. I was under the impression that Sitges is very much a gay place. Probably not what you're looking for. You realize Ibiza is an island. Not really "close to Barcelona", as you must either fly or take the ferry there. And the Ferry is, like 8 hours.
4. Sitges is good. OK it is a Gay watering hole but so is any nice, clean easy-going resort. Last night the town was full of young straight people looking for and finding fun. Sitges is still a popular family resort for Barcelona and those from inland Spain. The only down side is that Sitges town is a victim to its own popularity and is very crowded at weekends in summer. The further down the prom you get, the quieter it gets. The gay bits are beyond the Atlantida disco (beyond the promenade)and the bit of beach on the front just to the right of Avenida Sophia.
