Which is nicer to visit (for beautiful blue water and white sand): San Juan, Puerto Rico or US Virgin Islands?
My boyfriend and I will be going on the trip and we're 23. We don't care much for clubs. We care more about beautiful beaches and scenery.

- Rincon Beach in Ouerto Rico is a really beautiful place. The beaches are clean and the water is clear. There is a lot of space on the beaches and never crowded. However, the beaches on US Virgin Islands are second to none. - look - http://www.destination360.com/caribbean/usvi/images/s/us-virgin-islands.jpg Lindberg bay in US virgin islands is a lovely place. BE careful not to cross private property in USVI though when you wander the beaches lol. Aslo, majority of beaches are only for hotel guests.
- PUERTO RICO!!!!!!!!!
- St. John, USVI.
- Puerto Rico but don't go to San Juan because that's too tourist...it doesn't fully portray Puerto Rico's culture like the other areas. If you want the most beautiful water that you'll ever see go to Fajardo and take a ferry to Culebra and go to either a deserted beach there or Playa Flamenco.Trust me it's beautiful.Enjoy! The ferry only costs two or three dollars!!
- ill pick PR, you got more variety for spots on the beaches ,Isla Verde, Rinchon, Fajardo ,culebra, USVI isn't bad ether but i prefer PR cause there so much to do other than beaches ,eat mofongo great PRICAN food, taste soooooo gooood, try it..
- Well im from the U.S.virgin islands,. and im puertorican, so im in puerto rico alot too. and i think i would choose puertorico.
- Well you could go to Vieques, and stay in a vacation rental in Esperansa. I stayed there for a week a couple of years ago, you should rent a car if you go there so you can more easily explore the secluded beaches. I only recommend Esperansa, not Isabel Segunda. Here is a link with info on places to stay and photos of beaches. http://www.enchanted-isle.com/ On the other end I would recommend St. John in the USVI. There is a green resort there called Maho Bay. There is hiking to some of the best beaches in the Caribbean, snorkeling, diving and all kinds of water sports available. The waters are blue, and the sands white. They have several options available, and for St.John it's really affordable. I have heard only good things about this place, and am hoping to go there myself next year. http://www.maho.org/
- The most beautiful beach is in Culebra, Puerto Rico. Flamenco Beach, white sands and blue calm waters. You'll definitely love that beach and you can stay there camping. Its really fun and a lot of young people are there doing the same enjoying the beach during night and day.
