Beaches Turks and Caicos - Leave your wallet at home?

I'm leaving for my 1st visit to Beaches Turks and Caicos tomorrow with my son for a week. The website says to leave your wallet at home but I'm not sure what that means. What would I bring money for and where would I use it during my trip. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

1. It means that everything is included on the resort so you don't need to worry about paying for anything. You may want to bring money to pay for any unforeseen extras like airport taxes that some countries charge. Also in case you decide to go off the resort to sightsee or shop, that will cost money.
