Honeymoon help please fast!!!? Ok We are so confused we are going on a honeymoon sept 12 till the 18th. But we dont know where to go. We had our hearts set on jamaica but then we heard it is unsafe to leae your resort and we dont just want to stay in a resort. The only other thing i would like to do is be able to explor, shop, ect. then we thought of the bahamas, aruba, costa rica. We are wide open to where we go but here is what we want Crystal clear water on the beaches We want a all inclusive resort with ocean front room nice soft sandy beaches nice seanery i want to be like wooowwwwww semi safe i do not want to be afraid to walk the street during the daytime nice weather no rain nice locals just natural beauty i need help please but what i want most of all is the crystal clear water...... thank you we are 20 and 23 and or budget is around 2500 thank you please help

4. Like any other place in the world, Jamaica is as safe as you want to make it. There are areas where I wouldn't go but overall, it's safe. The resorts want you to stay on their resort so they can get your money, i.e. charge 3 times the regular price for souvenirs. You just have to be street smart and not carry lots of jewelry, no fancy expensive cameras, watch your surroundings, etc. The guys with the clubs at the property lines at the resort are resort employees who's main job is to intimidate you into believing their resort is the only safe spot in Jamaicamon. Regardless of where you go, I'm sure there is someone that could give you a horror story how bad it was.

6. I think you are a perfect candidate for Playa Del Carmen Mexico. I have stayed at the Riu Palace there on several occasions. I have never see better beaches, clearer water, better service. I would suggest you log onto cheapcaribbean.com. You will be in a gated community with a variety of resorts. You can walk or take a short cab ride into town where there is shopping, bars, etc. I go to Jamaica every November. I dont feel in any danger there. But, the locals are in poverty and look to make money from tourists.
7. I have been to most of the carib.. from what you are describing I would have to say Martinique, it is a french ruled island, but from your list the locals are not nice, hell they're are french. I went to Dominican Republic a few months ago, really good time, they have a lot of all inclusive there, and the people are very nice. 3rd.
