Do any of the beaches in Texas have clear water?

1. Surely you jest!! Not in a hundred years has the water on Texas beaches been clear! Way too much drilling, etc. in the gulf for the water to ever be clear again!!
2. I used to live in Texas and visited the coast a few times. Two things struck me. The first is that the water is quite warm, Like eighty degrees warm. The second was all the tar on my feet walking in the surf. Apparently the is a lot of oil that leaks from the drilling platforms and ends up on the beach. It's a shame, really... ..
