Easy points--What do you think of when you think of Australia?
International people of course. So when someone mentions Australia what do you picture? Deserts? Country? Cities? Beaches? Farms? I've lived in most parts Australia like the rural areas, the cities, the farms, the beaches and the tourist areas but I was wondering what everyone else pictures it would look like or simply what comes to mind. Thanks :)

- I love this question..I am kind of cheating as I am an Aussie living overseas... The things I know I miss...besides the skies the beaches...you cant beat them..But what I really miss..Is The fact that you can find any type of cuisine in the bigger cities..I miss that so much..Esp Melbourne food.. The restaurants/supermarkets/food markets..man I had no idea how good they were... Australia is such a cultural melting pot..I love that..ahh homesick
- Dry grassland and stunted trees.
- Sea/water side citys and towns; bbqs at the park, everyone at the beach, boys with no shirts on and boardies and jandals, native birds flying around, good food and coffee.. hot weather and spiders and snakes. Just the whole laid back astmosphere. I used to think steve irwin, kangaroos/koalas, desert, beaches and such. Until i visited qld and really experienced what it's like over there.
- For some reason, the colour yellow. Red desert Roads
- Swanston Street (idk, I always think about it when I think about Melbourne or Australia in general... weird)
- I think of home, the best country on earth.
- big red desert
- Well, I think of the desert, kangaroos, beaches, australian accents, and australian movies. Really, I've never been to Australia but those things come to mind. I would LOVE to visit and see what it's really like but until then, that's what I think of.
- I lived in New Zealand for several years, so, naturally, I think of that. I never actually went to the country of Australia, though my mother did. I think deserts, beaches, and hilly, grassy areas, the stereotype sadly. You are very lucky to have seen the many sides of Australia.
