- hey there, from personal experience i stayed in the south of france and it was amazing for shopping and beaches. i stayed in nice which was itself a coastal town on a beautiful beach, but you are a 20 min train ride to cannes which is amazing for its beach(youve probably heard about the film festival) or in the other direction italy is another 30 min train ride east. from nice there are many ferry companies that go to popular warm beautiful islands like corsica which can get very warm during the summer. you should really check it out, its amazing to see how many great places you can visit around that area. look at it on google maps sure! hope this helped. xx
- Your best bet is in Spain. The Balearic islands (e.g. Ibiza, Mallorca) are a great place for incredibly beautiful beaches and notorious night life. You can easily take boats to Barcelona or Valencia on the mainland for more sightseeing opportunities and beaches. Barcelona's beach itself is nice enough for a city with countless museums and sightseeing options, but the water is decently dirty. It's nothing in comparison to Ibiza's clear seas and white sand beaches.
- Any of the Southern European countries on the Mediterranean. Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Croatia. The further south the warmer the waters.
- The entire Istrian area, especially Portoroz in Slovenia is highly recommended as well!
