No offence, but Americans realy amuse me, they not only have a ridiculous accent, sound like idiots, but they have to be loud, rude, obnoxious, self centred.......why? They seem to mispronounciate words & phrases and also make up a lot of street or gutter talk. Even here in Australia, at places like Bondi Beach we have to tolerate them, why? why? why? If I have to hear the word 'AWESOME' one more time i'm going to head butt these American fools next to me! No, seriously one of the idiot American women just said '....look how much tanner I was'.....than attempted to correct herself by saying "....more tanner" hahaha......... a Nation full of imbociles. Amazing, I can deciphere what it is your all trying to say, yet you are actually proving my point, you can't even see it yet! "Man i dont know who you think you is" CLASSIC!

well being honest neither australian accent sounds great is just you are from a different place so you have a different accent, is like in latin america people from mexico say that argentinians speak horrible that they can't speak well and argentinians say that mexican have an ugly accent and they don't understand what are they talking about, the word of that is "ethnocentrism" that you believe you are better than people of other regions, if you go to the U.S probably they would say the same thing about your accent, it's just "slang".

Honestly, not all, but some of the people who come from different parts of the world, constantly find differences with Americans that irritates them and usually aims more towards the negative end of things. However I'm not going to sit here and say that America doesn't possess some rude and obnoxious people, but then again what country doesn't? Also, I see nothing wrong with saying a little slang here and there. You mean to tell me that you and your friends don't have your own code of language that you speak to eachother? Less educated than who? Listen, mate, cobber, sport, living in Little America (that's what I'm going to rename Australia), I find very little difference between Australians and Americans. I'm a Brit now living in Australia, and everything you are levelling at the Americans I could level at Australians. Australians adopt Americanisms at the drop of a hat. If I like hear the word, like, like, another like time when I'm like listening to like, young, like Australians talking, then I will, like SCREAM! Even Australian noosreaders are saying "nood" instead of "newd" these days! Australians can't get enough American movies, TV shows and music. Australians have lost their National identity to the Americans. even all of our food manufacturers are American-owned.
