Garie Beach

Poms, why do you keep sending your back packers to Australia to be lost in the bush?

We don't mind them & usually they are OK for a laugh about how inept they usually are at Cricket, they tend to have a better sense of humour than Americans, but really they often do the most stupid things, than wonder why it all whent wrong? Like trecking through the Blue Mountains, without a radio, mobile phone, maps or compass? Not alerting anyone as to where you were going? Only an idiot would do that on their own. So many times we see it here, from the hundreds that qare pulled from the Surf at Bondi Beach each year, because they can't bloody well swim, to the idiots that get themselves lost in the bush, let alone the imbociles i met who planned to drive from Sydney to Ayers Rock (Uluru) over the weekend. Common sense if you come here please, its expensive saving your asses! Ok mate, some of your women are quite hot, how about just sending them over instead? We'll look after them, they are less aggressive then the Brazilian backpackers we get here as well....

  1. I concur.... But, you see.... Us Brit's are so deprived of good weather, that the mere sight of the sun intoxicates us, making us do the most ridiculous things, like wearing Speedo's that are 2 sizes too small on the beach. Or trying to trek mountains without any experience or common sense. Sorry love Britain
  2. Are you an Aboriginal if not wind your neck in because you are no more an Aussie than I am. !
  3. So our stupid boys can make money from your media. TV rights worth £75 k. Not bad for someone who can`t even remember to carry a mobile! (for the record I agree he was incredibly stupid, not quite on par with the aussie who goes to London from Heathrow via Stonehenge with taxi! "well I thought I`d take in the sights".)
  4. Same reason why so many Australians keep turning up here in London to serve warm beer in our pubs when they know perfectly well they cannot speak French. But there you go. Did you know that more than half the poms who went to Oz in the 1950s and 1960s returned home here to UK? Wonder why! Back to the future. The bloke who got lost in the Blue Mountains Park was probably fed by wild dingos or something. Cannot believe he survived near sub-zero temps for 12 days. But then he is a pom and sub-zero just about sums up our summers over here. Agree = idiot. OZ imports to UK http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H1FbAsFX8sA Sheila's Wheels http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrKaQRIXPNw Ashes to ashes. Oz Joke Q: What's the difference between a group of French men and a slice of toast? A: You can make soldiers out of the slice of toast.
  5. I stole his radio and his phone, thought it would be a laugh.
  6. A bit harsh aren't you? Nothing wrong with the Poms. They just aren't getting the best advice before they do these things & maybe it is up to us Aussies to see they get it.
  7. I was walking through Shepherds Bush at around 1.00am last week and noticed a young gentleman wearing an Australian flag, asleep in a bus stop with sick down his shirt. How about we do a deal?
