Is Bondi Beach part of Sydney Australia?
Well, I know that there is "The City of Sydney" and there are many towns in the "Sydney Metropolitan Area" So would Bondi Beach be considered a district of Sydney, like The Bronx and Manhatthan in New York City, or would it be a completely different town?

- Bondi Beach is part of the "Eastern Suburbs". It is part of Sydney. It isn't in the city because well it is a beach but it is part of Sydney and it is just a different suburb in Sydney
- Bondi Beach is very much an integral part of Sydney the city. The beach itself is fairly close to the centre of the city (about 10kms or so). Sydney is divided by local government areas such as the Sydney city council, other city councils and shires. These are municipal councils though and do not devide the city into distinct metropolitan areas. The only other area of Sydney that could remotely be classed as a city (with its own sky scrapers and city core would be Paramatta, and even this is considered an integral part of greater Sydney.
