Hello friends. Is it expensive to live on the beaches of AUSTRALIA?

1. close to the beach in the major cities is the most expensive place to live in Australia. depends on the city how much, if you go to a small town you could buy a house for a reasonable price.
2. In any of the major cities (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth) its a rule of thumb that the closer you live to the coast the more expensive the housing tends to be.
3. well obviously depends on the size of the house, but yeh beach front property is very expensive in Aus.....espeicially in holidays areas suh as byron bay, gold coast or phillip island but if you fin a beach that isnt near a major city it can have properties for as little as 150 000 Aus $$$ Mission beach would be the best place to live in Australia its amazing!!
