Garie Beach

Why are people so uptight about being naked ?

My wife and I went to a nudist resort here in Texas last weekend and it was great. I did some nude beach activity when I was younger but it has been many years, and my wife has never done it. We both had a great time. After a few minutes of feeling a bit akward we relaxed and sunbathed, went swimming, ate, talked, met a bunch of nice naked people. By the time we left we felt uncomfortable putting our clothes back on! We are hooked and are going to go back frequently. Why do people think this is such a big deal to be naked with other people? I must admit there were a few fat people there. Also some ugly people, old, young, good looking. Pretty much like regular society. Everyone seemed comfortable with their bodies though, unlike regular society. One does not go to a nudist place to see "weiners" or have someone see yours, one goes to enjoy the feeling of freedom that comes with being naked, outside in a beautiful place. Everyone had plenty of morals, just not your one about feeling ashamed of your body "imagine" if you were able to separate nudity from sexuality.

  1. I don't know if I would do that but I have no problem with you being nude or walking around my house and or property at that without clothes on. My husband though is a real prude!
  2. Because those people have morals, and think that only your spouse should see you naked.
  3. cuz wieners are not my thing man.
  4. Because society's looked down upon nudity forever. People forget that showing all the other parts of the body are just like an arm or a leg...they are parts of our bodies as well.
  5. Because most people have a sense of modesty forced down their throat by their parents from the day they turn two and learn how to take their own pants off :) Others have very low self esteem and may not be comfortable, especially around people they may feel inferior standing next to.
  6. Because most people who attend such beaches are overweight and a fat body is unattractive.
  7. Now that you mention it... idk. Seems to me its kinda an all or nothing scenario where society only accepts if everybody's nude or no one's nude
  8. my dick slaps my thigh..human grandfather clock syndrome..bad look. plus....imagine if every chick you thought was hot got the pleasure of seeing your cock post.
  9. I personally just love the feeling of clothes. I'm glad you two had fun, though. Go naked people! :D
  10. OK True Story: About ....i'll say 8 years ago, I went skinny dipping with a bunch of people (old hippies and young folks alike). It was pretty liberating, but it was also a bit weird. It was like everyone was waiting for someone to initiate an orgy. But we just sat around and played guitar, dranked, smoked and played in the water and I got a bytchin case of poison ivy. If you've never had it, consider yourself lucky. In that situation, a spontaneous event that wasn't planned, sure, i'm up for it. But driving to a place where it's known you gotta drop your draws is just weird to me. I mean, if everyone there was in shape and attractive, sure, but then that would probably end up a hot mess too. I dunno. I just picture a nudie beach as a bunch of old, fat people and, while, i've really got nothing against old people or fat people, I'd feel jipped because they'd have some eye candy but I wouldn't. I CAN'T seperate the two. But that's just me.
  11. Because people have a sense of morality. Naturally, since yours has worn away, you would see nothing wrong with being naked
  12. I'm not uptight about it -- I just think people look better wearing clothes in the same way cats look better with a fur coat. I like the feel of a warm breeze on my naked hide, but I burn very easily (even when wearing SPF 30) so I prefer to keep covered.
  13. Most societies are uptight about nudity because the human body has been sexualized. I don't have a problem with it at all. I've gone topless on European beaches and it's liberating. People keep talking about morals, but morals have to do with right and wrong. Going around mall parking lots and playgrounds flashing people is wrong; being comfortable in your own skin is right.
  14. i couldnt do that i ahve morals lol....and its kinda embarassing being butt ass naked infront of alot of perople u dont know and who are going to stare at you ....
  15. I agree of course with everything you say, I just feel very sorry for the poor brainwashed masses that were brought up to equate nudity with sexual activity. Nobody should be ashamed of what or who they are, nudism is the great social leveller that does not rely on clothing for identity comparisons! We are all born naked!
  16. It relates to the traditions of man and the ways of the world. Nowhere in the Bible are we told to wear clothes. We are told rather, not to be conformed to the ways of the world. The world loves lavish and extravagant fashions and calls it modesty when, in fact, no clothes would be more modest.
  17. People are uptight about nudity because they've been lied to all their lives about it, and don't realize how quickly they'd get used to it if they would just gave it a try. Congratulations. You figured it out.
