what are north carolina beaches?

what are some nice beaches in north carolina? that arent too crowded near the end of june? they could be private beaches or just public beaches that arent as touristy. that have relatively cheap hotels? i would prefer beaches more in the northern area since i am from ohio. any advice would be greatly appreciated!! thank you.
