when is best time to visit Mrytle Beach, South Carolina for swimming in the ocean?

is the first 2 weeks of June warm enough? We do not want to worry about light jackets, etc so when is a good time to go without rain or winds?

2. june and july are good but maybe not this year north myrtle beach is on fire right now and it probably will take a while for them to get every thing back to normal
