what are the names of the beaches on Roanoke island in North Carolina?

and how many are there and if possible which town was the tree that had "croatoan" written on it in? also what can you tell me about Historic Manteo Candlelight Walking Tour. is there a website that has the information about this event on it. i'm VERY interested. thanks hun. but i really really really need names of beaches thanks for the input. but i really need to know what beaches are on that island. it's not about better beaches but thanks you so much =)

2. Manteo...The better beaches are on Hatteras Island just a few miles away. Rodanthe, Avon, Buxton, Hatteras.
