- Oak Street Beach and North Avenue Beach are the best. The northside beaches - loyola park - are nice but the neighborhoods can be a little rough, though much improved from only a few years ago. I would consider Chicago a great place to go to museums and shopping, dining and clubbing, but I would have to admit we are not the "beach" destination compared to many other places in the world.
- come over to michigan we have great beaches lake michigan has a beautiful shore line and best beaches. we will welcome you over here in Michigan
- You would be better off going on a boat ride, seeing the city's skyline, than hanging out at the beach.
- If you have a dog, you can take it to the Foster Avenue beach and let it run loose. I've done that. Otherwise, if you want beaches, come on around the lake to Michigan.
- A few DAYS on the beach? Not sure if you mean that you plan on pitching a tent and building a bonfire, but if that's what you mean, forget it. You can VISIT the beaches each day, and some of them are pretty nice. Not the French Riveria, but not bad,. Try Oak Street beach, North Avenue beach, Montrose Beach.
