where a nice place to go for a beach holiday?

just a weekend getaway, in thailand or malaysia since i heard there're some very beautiful beaches, some which not many people have heard of! any ideas or experiences to share?

4. go to Sipadan island in malaysia...u never regret...cheap, beautiful beaches and u can go to scuba diving also...
