Does anyone know any beaches in North Carolina?

Does anyone know any beaches in North Carolina? I went to mountains with my Youth Group about 3 years ago. While we were there, we stop by this park, and it had a lake and a beach of sand. It was just like a normal beach. Does anyone know a place in North Carolina that has a lake beach? Thanks!

1. Atlantic Beach/ Emerald Ilse. Iv'e been there 10 times! beautiful beach and they have some cool things if you have kids. Its also know as The Crystal Coast http://www.crystalcoastnc.org/
