what central coast (nsw, australia) beaches allow fires?

my friend and i want to have a bonfire on a beach for our joint 16th birthday party, and we live on the central coast of new south wales, in australia, but both our local beaches don't allow fires or sleeping on the beach. does anyone know any in the area (we don't mind travelling a little, maybe south to sydney and north to newcastle) that allow that kind of thing? or where u wouldnt get caught if you did break a rule? preferably the not breaking rules one. thanks, xox is it really illegal to have a party on the beach? i'm willing to compromise on fire, if i have to, but i'd assumed i'd be allowed to just be at the beach and possibly all sleep there after... that complicates things if it is. thanks
