Would like suggestions on where to stay for a relaxing by the beach week of rest, sun, rest, sand, rest, swim, read, eat.....................

1. I think you should go to the Beaches resort. I went there 4 years ago and it was totally amazing! I was going to go back this year but oh... it was hit by a hurricane over the summer and I heard its totally ruined. I am so sad but I don't know any other places. Maybe you can call the resort and ask but thats the best I can do. Hope I helped!
2. The Cute Little Genius obviously didn't follow through events at Beaches: it was closed for a few months following Hurricane Ike, but reopened not long ago bigger and brighter than ever, with no trace of damage. If you want an all-inclusive resort, that is one possibility, together with Club Med, further up the beach.
