Which country has the best beaches in Europe?

Croatia or Greece? I have heard Croatia has the most beautyful beaches of Europe but I also heard the same about Greece. I also want to know if I could find white sand and blue water beaches in Greece. Thanks. Thanks my friend Vasiliki however is hard to choose they are both beautyful

1. Well Its two different things to compare. Greece has way longer coastial line, has thousands of islands and Aegean is warmer than Adriatic. 3. Hola my amigo, what's up? Yes, Greece has probably more beautiful beaches than Spain,Turkey,Croatia or any other european countries... Why? 7. Best beach is any beach you like, there's no competition for it. Beauty depends on how we feel and when we're happy we'll always think something is better then something else even if it's the best for others. I mean, beaches in Croatia are best for me because I grew up on them but I was in Greek beaches many many times and they're very good. But there's no place like home so to Greeks it's Greek beaches, to Turks it's Turkish but to me it will always be Croatian beaches. Vasiliki, your third link is not a beach, it's National Park Plitvice with cascading lakes and it's in the continental part. 10. I have never been to Croatia, but if you go to GREECE, you won't be disappointed. The water is beautiful. Keep in mind, though, that not all beaches are sandy.

12. I have never been been to Croatia, but I can tell you the Greek beaches are awsome. You can find amazing white sandy beaches on Naxos, Paros, Mykonos, Milos, Kimolos, Kos, Rhodos, and of course the Ionian islands (Kefallonia, Sante, etc.). The Ionian islands may be more similar to Croatia, the sand is whiter and the water more "Caribbean" like, emerald in colour. But I personally prefer the Aegean, it feels more "real sea" than "blue lagoon". I don't know if you understand what I am saying, it is a personnal feeling. BTW, there are great beaches at South Peloponnese, near Neapoli and on the little island Elafonisos just next to Neapoli.
