When and where are the best beaches to go to when the weather is cool.?

We want to go to a beach during cool weather, 60's or anywhere when it's NOT hot and humid and when the beaches are pretty empty and NOT crowed? Could you give me the best beaches in the USA with what I said above? Thanks all !

1. Buckroe Beach near Hampton, Virignia fits those requirements pretty well, especially during the Spring and Fall. Since it's not much of a "beach destination", Buckroe is never crowded the way you think of when you think "crowded beach", and Hampton has a temperate climate that's just great for being outdoors much of the year.
