Where is the best Texas beach to surf fish?

My friends and I are trying to find a good beach to try and catch some reds, trout, or maybe a shark or two.

6. Wouldn't you be better surfing with a board? Fish are usually too slippery and I'm sure you'll keep falling off. However, if you must persist in non-standard surfing, good luck.
