What is the most romantic place to take my girlfriend in West Florida for a night or two?

I'm looking to surprise her with a nice quiet beautiful place. Prefer somewhere to the mid-south west coast of Florida (Gulf of Mex.) I'm trying to stay away from Key West. I know she would like somewhere close to the beach as possible. And even a balcony where we could watch the ocean and see animals. So far i'm looking at Anna Marie Island and Marco Island...any suggestions?
