Garie Beach

Where would the best "beach holiday" be in October/November?

It is for a Honeymoon. We want a "lazy" holiday. We will be travelling from the UK. We want somewhere dry and hot! (if possible) so some destinations that have hot but rainy climates at this time of year may be less suitable. Thank you for you help.

  1. Goa, there rainy season is usually around easter time so you will miss it if you plan to go in Oct/Nov. Also, Barbados is a lovely place to go!
  2. Lanzarote for sure, its definately still dry and hot in october/november and it is beautiful, aaaaand the people are great there's loads to do etc etc etc
  3. Brazil is a nice place to go, it's hot and rain too. You can go to Rio de Janeiro is a lovely place.
  4. If you don't want to go to far the Canaries are allways hot and dry , if you want to go further anywhere in the Caribbean, maldives would be good!
  5. How about Paphos in Cyprus. You will be travelling out of high season but Paphos is a decent sized town and you can find plenty to do. There's 5000 years of history to explore. In the evenings there's plenty to keep you amused. Check in your hotel lobby for ideas. Car hire at that time of year can be pretty cheap, like from €10 per day for a small car. October is usually dry but by November I suggest you have about a 10% chance of rain. Usually around sunset so arrange your meals to co-inside. You can get great package deals at that time of year. So watch the press or search the internet. Ian M
  6. Try some resorts in Egypt like sharm el sheikh, taba or hurghada, the weather is really hot and no rain. Other alternatives would be somewhere like Morocco or the caribbean. If you want to go a little further try thailand, malaysia or somewhere exotic like bali even. Theres loads of options, depends how much you would like to spend really.
  7. Bora Bora !
  8. australia. the gold coast will be hot and almost no chance of rain as they are in the middle of the worst drought in australia's history. sucks for them but good news for you :)
