What side of Florida is Nicer for beaches and blue ocean Gulf or Atlantic side?

I wanna go to florida and want to see a nice white sand beach and beautiful ocean what side has the best beaches and water. Gulf side or the Atlantic Side? What beach is the best in Florida?

2. The beaches on the Gulf coast are much nicer than the Atlantic beaches. The best beaches in Florida are along the central Gulf coast. My favorite beach is Fort Desoto Park near St. Petersburg. Caladesi Island near Dunedin is also very nice.
3. We love the active waves and beautiful beaches of the Datyona Beach areas. You can actually drive your vehicle onto the beach there (small fee). Lots to do there, rent a golf cart to drive on the beach, rent an atv for the beach, skidoo rentals, parasailing, bicycles to ride on the beach. The gulf side is like going to a lake, small waves, boring in our opinion.
4. The prettiest white sand is on the Gulf side around Clearwater, and on down to Sarasota area. Siesta Key is the prettiest beach that I have ever been to. The sand is white and has the texture almost like powdered sugar.
5. I think the best is Navarre beach so is Pensacola beach. Beaches in Fort Myers, Bonita and Sanibel are really great too. East coast is not even close. I have lived in many West Coast areas and Navarre beach is best by far very low key not too built up at all. Sand is the whitest in the panhandle (Emerald Coast).
